To prevent them, you need the foods on the menu. As much as we love summer, it is just as troublesome for us. Hot days in the office are a real challenge that regularly makes us despair in front of the wardrobe in the morning when we are looking for outfits that do not make us sweat too much. But not only is the right clothing crucial to cool our body, our choice of food and drinks also plays a huge role.

In addition to heat and physical activity, feelings of fear, high blood pressure can also make us sweat. For this reason, it is best to consult a doctor to rule out possible diseases. Here are seven foods that make you sweat less during the summer.

    1. Water with lemon

Drinking water with one or more slices of fresh lemon has several advantages: With its sour taste, the yellow fruit not only helps with detoxification, stimulates the metabolism, and refreshes our entire organism, it also regulates our salt balance because we lost a lot of valuable salts and minerals when we sweat. It is also a low-calorie variant for those that are not fans of pure water taste.

    2. Yogurt is excellent

In most cases, yogurt comes fresh from the refrigerator, so we immediately feel a pleasant feeling of coolness when we eat it. It allows the heated body temperature to drop, which prevents sweat attacks. Of course, you can also add other dairy products, à la quark or kefir, to the menu.

    3. Ginger is awesome

Thanks to its calming effect, it is a natural miracle cure stressful situations. It helps us to relax well. It also has a lot to offer in summer due to its relaxing effect, such as a cooled tea. It can come in handy and save us from annoying sweat when we are in stressful situations in the office—be it at a meeting or overtime.

    4. Sage make it so simple

Do you love drinking tea? Then incorporate sage tea into your drinking routine because sage also has an antiperspirant effect on the inside. Make sage high on your shopping list now. It is best used either as a topping on a drink or as an ingredient in a delicious dish. Either way, it works like a charm. Thanks to the essential oils it contains, the plant has an antiperspirant effect on our body and soothes our nervous system, thus cooling us down from the inside. But the green treat can do even more. It also works against bacteria, fungi, and inflammation.

    5. Mint tea is excellent

Since the body reacts to ice-cold drinks with heat generation, one should instead resort to a warm alternative. Mint tea, which has a pleasantly cooling effect with its essential oils, is particularly suitable here, especially in summer.

Peppermint tea can be very refreshing! It contains the essential oil menthol, which affects the cold-sensitive receptors in the skin, mouth, and throat and causes our body temperature to drop. Mint tea is a delicious alternative to mineral water. A positive side effect: the sweat smells much less intensely when you drink a lot of fluids.

    6. Rice is your best bet

Even if we think of rice as a tasty, warm, and sticky dish, the white grains are considered antiperspirant. This is because they contain many valuable minerals and vitamins, and they bind the water in our body, which prevents excessive sweating.

    7. Fresh figs do a lot more

If it gets scorching again, we should take some figs because the high magnesium content of the fruits diminishes sweating. Fresh figs are also found in large quantities in seeds, kernels, nuts, and even bananas. They regulate our blood pressure, promote blood circulation, and strengthen our immune system.
