The United Arab Emirates is a country located in the southeastern region of the Arabian Peninsula. The country is made up of seven emirates, each with its own ruler. The largest and most populous emirate is Dubai, which is also the capital. It is home to many Guinness World Records. From the tallest building to the largest mall, the country has it all. And it’s not just the physical size of these structures that are impressive – the UAE is also home to the world’s tallest hotel, the world’s largest indoor waterpark, and the world’s largest LED-lit façade.

In this article, we will be taking a look at some of the most amazing Dubai & UAE Guinness World Records that you won’t believe. From the largest furniture store to the longest zip line, these records are sure to amaze you!

    1. Burj Khalifa: World’s tallest building

According to all three of the primary criteria used to evaluate such structures, the Burj Khalifa, a mixed-use skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is the tallest building in the world. The tower, whose intended height was kept a closely-guarded secret throughout its construction and reached completion at 162 floors and a height of 2,717 feet, was built to house a variety of commercial, residential, and hospitality ventures (828 meters).

    2. Dubai Frame: World’s largest frame

When it first opened to the public in January 2018, Dubai Frame quickly rose to the top of the list of tourist destinations in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates.

Visiting the Dubai Frame should be at the top of your list if you’re looking for a fun thing to do in Dubai for the day. You can experience the views of Old and New Dubai and see how the city has changed to become a one-of-a-kind metropolitan from the top of the 150 m-tall Dubai Frame, which offers a bird’s eye view of the city’s famous and spectacular skyline.

    3. Warner Bros Abu Dhabi: World’s largest indoor theme park

Warner Bros Abu Dhabi is the first indoor theme park with a Warner Bros. brand ever opened in Abu Dhabi! Prepare to be transported to the settings of your favorite characters as you step through the recognizable Warner Bros. shield for an unforgettable immersive experience. The thrills start at the Warner Bros. Plaza, which serves as your entryway to our variously themed areas, such as Bedrock, Dynamite Gulch, Cartoon Junction, Gotham City, and Metropolis. Discover 29 cutting-edge thrilling rides, interactive family-friendly attractions, and distinctive live entertainment for lifelong memories.

    4. Dubai Mall: World’s largest mall

Dubai Mall is the world’s largest destination for shopping, entertainment, and leisure. The size of Dubai Mall, which has more than 1,200 retail establishments, two significant department stores, and hundreds of eating and drinking establishments, is more than 1 million square meters, or 200 football fields. For those who enjoy high fashion, there are over 70 renowned stores that beckon you, including Bloomingdale’s and Galeries Lafayette, the first in the Middle East. For haute couture, visit Fashion Avenue to view the newest offerings from internationally renowned brands and designers like Versace, Burberry, and more.

    5. Cayan Tower: World’s twistiest tower

The 1,010-foot-tall, 75-story Cayan Tower in Dubai, which rotates a full 90 degrees from base to top, is the tallest twisting tower in the world and a monument to logical thought applied to the advancement of art and commerce. Reasonable reasoning, as Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) architects and engineers constructed the structure methodically using standard parts and repeating floor plans. Because it presents itself as a freestanding sculpture that can be seen from across the Dubai Marina, the building is considered art. And business, since repeating floor plans have the greatest benefit of making it easier to sell the building’s 495 condominium apartments, which range in size from studios to four-bedroom duplexes.

    6. Dubai Miracle Garden: World’s largest flower garden

Given that it was constructed on desert land, like nearly everything else in this Middle Eastern destination, the Dubai Miracle Garden is undoubtedly a fittingly named attraction. The 72,000 square meter attraction boasts the largest natural flower garden in the world and has more than 60 million flowers on display. It opened on Valentine’s Day in 2013 and is now home to up to 1.5 million visitors a year in Dubailand, close to the Arabian Ranches.

    7. Formula Rossa: World’s fastest roller coaster

The fastest roller coaster in the world, Formula Rossa, which was created by Intamin and debuted in 2010, is situated at Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates has a top speed of 240 km/h (149.1 mph). Using a hydraulic launch system, the coaster train accelerates to its top speed of 240 km/h (149.1 mph) in 4.9 seconds. Riders can experience acceleration forces of up to 1.7 g and ride forces of up to 4.8 g. Ferrari F1 drivers Kimi Räikkönen and Sebastian Vettel tested it.

    8. Deep Dive Dubai: World’s deepest swimming pool

The Deep Dive Dubai pool is at least four times larger than any other diving pool in the world and contains 14 million liters of fresh water, which is the equivalent of six Olympic-sized swimming pools. On June 27, Guinness bestowed upon it the title of “Deepest Swimming Pool for Diving.” This endeavor, which draws inspiration from the UAE’s rich pearl-diving history, raises the bar for the ambitious national vision of an amazing future.

It offers discovery dives for first-timers, scuba dives, and free dives, as well as diving courses and workshops on all levels of diving, from beginner to technical instructors.

    9. Dubai Fountain: World’s largest fountain

The Palm Fountain in Dubai beat the previous record for the largest fountain in the world. It covers 1,335 square meters of ocean. The Pointe on Palm Jumeirah is home to the record-breaking fountain. Over 3,000 LED lights and 7,500 nozzles are used in the Palm Fountain. It has a 105-meter water-shooting range. There are some clever design elements in the Palm Fountain, such as controls for brightness and color. Its water jets perform dance moves to international music. The song-water performances will feature Khaleeji, pop, traditional, and world music.

    10. Jebel Jais Flight: World’s largest zipline

The longest zipline in the world was opened in Ras al-Khaimah, the farthest northern emirate, by the United Arab Emirates, breaking yet another Guinness World Record. Jebel Jais Flight offers thrill-seekers a nearly three-minute suspended flight from the largest mountain peak in the nation while gliding over rocky terrain. With a length of 1.76 miles, this zipline surpasses the previous record holder in Puerto Rico by nearly 2,000 feet and is longer than 28 football fields.
