Celebrities have always been the topic of discussion, whether they are famous or infamous. In this article, we are talking about celebrities who have broken the law. This article will give you an introduction to some of the most talked-about celebrities today that have gone from being famous to infamous. Celebrities like Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Bynes, Britney Spears, and more all had their time as Hollywood stars before becoming tabloid fodder in photos with their lawyers in court. Read on if you want to know what happens when these beautiful people go wild!

    Lindsay Lohan

As a child, Lindsay Lohan appeared in several Disney films, including The Parent Trap and Freaky Friday. At the age of 11, she was cast as the face of Louis Vuitton’s ad campaign. From there, Lohan became a household name. Her most notable role was as Sam in Mean Girls (2004).

Just after the release of her breakthrough film and its various nominations for awards such as MTV Movie Awards, SAG Awards and Golden Globe Awards, Lohan gained notoriety for her infamous partying habits and things took a turn from there. She violated her probation and was sentenced to jail time, she had a string of car accidents (most notably on June 8, 2007, when Lohan crashed into an 18-wheeler truck in Beverly Hills), and was charged with various offenses.

Lohan’s life hit rock bottom as her license was suspended for six months (the suspension was later extended a year and a half because Lohan did not attend mandatory alcohol education classes), and she was once again arrested for driving under the influence. She entered rehab twice in early 2010 and has recently been charged with another hit-and run incident (for which she only received a slap on the wrist). Lohan’s future looks a little more promising, as she has been cast in the film The Canyons opposite star James Deen.

    Amanda Bynes

Growing up, Amanda Bynes starred in Nickelodeon shows All That and The Amanda Show. She transitioned from child star to teenage roles with the film What a Girl Wants (2003). With her cute looks and talented acting chops, she became one of the biggest teen stars in Hollywood.

But then, everything changed when Bynes starting acting out on Twitter and posting strange videos of herself online (including one which showed her taking a shower with her clothes on). Her erratic behavior eventually led to paparazzi following her around everywhere she went and she was ultimately placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold. Celebrities with mental illnesses have to deal with a lot of stigma from the public, which only makes things worse for them and their recovery.

    Britney Spears

For years, Britney Spears was the American sweetheart with a squeaky clean image. But things went downhill fast when she lost consensus from both critics and fans alike after her personal life became tabloid fodder to the point where Spears’ own behavior couldn’t be solely blamed for their unfavorable reactions.

There were numerous rumors about her on-again, off-again relationship with Justin Timberlake. She married a childhood friend from Louisiana, but only to annul her marriage after 55 hours, citing “fraud.” Then there was the head shaving incident and subsequent hospitalization for psychological evaluation. Celebrities like Britney Spears can’t ever seem to catch a break it seems.

    Britney Spears

    Gary Busey

The role of Buddy Holly requires a certain level of talent and charisma, which is why the producers of The Buddy Holly Story (1978) were surprised when they ended up casting Gary Busey in the lead. He won a Golden Globe Award for his performance as well as an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. He also went on to enjoy a fairly successful career throughout the ’70s and into the ’80s.

But Busey’s personal problems soon overshadowed his acting talent. He was involved in a motorcycle accident in which he was not wearing a helmet and ended up being in a coma for several days. During this time, it seems that Busey’s drug addiction only worsened (as well as his wife leaving him and taking their kids with them). Celebrities like Gary Busey are proof that fame doesn’t make you immune to problems.

    Jennifer Hudson

Before she was an Oscar-winning actress, Jennifer Hudson kicked off her career on American Idol where she finished in third place. She was a role model for plus-sized women everywhere and was even chosen to participate in the Dove campaign. Her soulful voice quickly made her one of the biggest breakout stars in 2007.

But on October 24, 2008, she would lose both her mother and brother when they were shot and killed by Hudson’s estranged brother-in-law. Celebrities like Jennifer Hudson remind us that life is too short and we must cherish every moment with the ones we love.

    Drew Barrymore

Drew Barrymore’s acting career started when she was only 11 months old! She soon became the poster child for “child star gone wrong.” Celebrities like Drew Barrymore are proof that there is no such thing as a “normal childhood.”

She started drinking and smoking at the age of nine, was taken to Alcoholics Anonymous meetings by her parents at ten (which only made things worse at the time), had multiple stints in rehab, hung out with the likes of John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd who got her hooked on cocaine, was arrested for drunk driving twice within four months, had a miscarriage at 17 and ended up marrying an abusive alcoholic.

    Learning from their Mistakes

Celebrities are everywhere these days, from social media and television to the big screen. But not all fame is good. Some celebrities fall into a world of drugs and alcohol abuse, domestic violence, legal troubles, bankruptcy or even death after their time in the spotlight has passed them by. In this article we’ve collected some stories about how famous people went wild before they were infamous—and what can happen when you let your celebrity status go too far! We hope that reading about these cautionary tales will help keep you grounded while living out your own dreams on stage or screen.
