Giving back is something that Joseph Giardina is most passionate about. One of his most notable charity involvements is donating 40 hams and 40 turkeys to the annual Westchester Christmas dinner, which provides dinner for over 350 guests from homeless shelters all over the country. He started this tradition fifteen years ago when I saw a flyer at St. Mary’s Church. My family and I do that every year now,” he says smiling.
“It was definitely more risky to donate so much back then because I was a new dad and business owner,” Joseph Giardina says. “Now we have the means to do that annually plus so much more. We love to give and to help our community as much as we can.”
He is also a Board member for Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation, led by founder Denise Rich. “I believe deeply in its goals,” Joseph Giardina explains. “There are too many children and adults who are suffering from leukemia, lymphoma, and related cancers, and we need more effective treatments. I value the nonprofit’s work in this area, so serving on its Board is an excellent way for me to serve its mission.”
